Skin

Your skin is your body’s largest organ, covering and protecting everything inside.

Skin helps keep your body at just the right temperature and allows you to have the sense of touch.

As your skin is a large part of your overall physical appearance, it is important that your skin can heal quickly if it is damaged. Both vitamins and minerals have a role in the appearance and structure of your skin and are also essential for its ability to repair.

Many nutrients in vegetables maintain healthy skin including vitamin A, vitamin C and some B-group vitamins (biotin, niacin and riboflavin).
